To be or not to be?

The question still remains in my mind. Should I or shouldn't I revive this, as many people will call it, a 'web-blog' ?

( I personally think its a sad excuse for us to waste our time and put out the thoughts in our heads so that people OR person may or may not see it, if you catch my drift. I for one, am guilty as charged )

Its been SOO long, that if you noticed the upper right hand corner of this page it shows my age a year younger.

WELL, I guess I'll just do what I do best. PROCRASTINATE.

Festive Suicide.

The holidays can get depressing. Dont get me wrong, I'm no Meredith Grey nor Christina Yang, hating the holidays having to put up with the hassle of getting together and plastering a smile on my face. On the contrary, I love the holidays. I love having people around, some good company ,good food and a lil' bit of music to spice things up.

But ever since a kid, holidays in my family have always been a passive affair. There were no clear traditions. If the extended family doesnt have a get together, which is a rare occasion, the holidays gets gloomy.

Maybe when I'm older I'll make my own traditions.

P.S: I wish I'd never.

Swing, swing.

Yesterday Jing, Euchuan, Fann,Marvin and I decided to take the 'Ultimate Swing'. Some of us were psyched whereas there were the runts who needed major convincing. But in the end, we all agreed it was worthwhile and money well spent. The feeling of high was so immense! It was EPIC! x)

Here's a video of two white boys that went after us. One was soo terrified, haha poor thing. But since we had larger mass, we had a larger momentum and swings were higher and lasted much longer.

This is something I would highly recommend. If you were to make a trip down south, I would definitely bring you guys here :D

Why do men have nipples?

This answers to Mr.haHa's question, 'Why do men have nipples?'

I actually can't remember what Leyner and Gberg wrote in their book, since I read it about a year ago, but here are a few theories we could work with. :)

1. The nipple, simply like the arm is just a part of the human anatomy - Many sources.

2. So we know its time to put on a jumper -David Llyod, Oxford and a few others

3. It is the wish of our creator at the begining, refer to Genesis 2: 4-25 -The Bible.

4. To help our creator to put the breastbone right in the middle -Louis of Netherlands

5. To twist, so females can punish men if they've been naughty -Charlotte Glebocki

Personally, I'd go with the last one ;)

Child's play.

Today the guys, Houling and I thought we'd have ourselves some fun. So we made our way to what seemed like a paintball arena opposite SSI. When we got there, we were speechless. The whole arena was the size of a tennis court with merely those lompat tinggi tilam(s) placed upright as cover. Sucha let down! :x

Then Hon Yew, god bless his soul, suggested another place he had once been too but it would be quite a long drive out of town. So we thought what the heck, its a Friday anyways. Lets go! :D

We drove to what seemed like the middle of nowhere and we finally arrived at this secluded park surrounded by 'The Grand Canyon' (or atleast it highly resembled). We were once again speechless, but only this time in a good way. I felt like I was in one of those counter strike maps. Never thought a place like this could exist in JB.

I managed to draw first blood with a stray pellet lying on the ground, haha.

I felt bad after for staining her jeans and all this girl said was, "It okay Shanu, Chinese New Year is coming anyway what".

But unfortunately there were this large group of people (which I strongly believe was a mob group of some kind and paintball justs helps improve their aim when shooting) already playing and had enough pellets to last them the whole day. So we decided to give it a rest and come back on another day with many more people for much more fun.

It was still to early to call it a day, so we decided on an alternative, something completely on the other side of the spectrum.

Hello darling. You there?

Girls, don't you feel its ever so often that when you talk to boys, you're not able to get your point across to them? Frustrating isn't it? Its like they're not listening. But I've learnt that the poor things cant help it.

A few days back, my sister and I visited MPH to get some reading material to help us get past the holidays. There I picked out the book 'WHY DO MEN FALL ASLEEP AFTER SEX ?' the sequel to 'WHY DO MEN HAVE NIPPLES ?' . Well authors Leyner and Goldberg MD aka Gberg certainly knows how to attract attention to their book. This book includes many thought-provoking questions. But I must say its quite a good read. I highly recommend if you have a passion for medical anomalies and bizarre conditions! :D

Anyhoo, after dinner today I was bored so I asked my mum and dad if they wanted to be entertained. Having no choice but to say yes, they simply agreed. This was roughly how the conversation turned out:

Shanu: Okay let me share with you both a lil' something from the book I've been reading. Ah this one ' Why don't men listen? '

Mum: Okay la, go on. I'm listening. (while Dad remains silent, probably fearful of what he's about to hear, haha )

Shanu: Well it says here that in men, the male and female voices activate distinct regions of the male brain. Apparently a woman's voice stimulates an area of the brain used to process complex sounds, such as music and a man's voice however activates the region of the brain that is used to process imagery. Also men and women listen differently. A majority of men only use the left side of their brain, on the other hand women use both sides. SO basically if we connect the dots, men find it difficult to hear and understand women because they're only using one side of their brain! x)

Mum: *sniggers*

Shanu: *turns to Dad* Could you understand everything i said?

Mum: HAHAHAHAHA

Dad: ...... -.-'

So boys here is a suggestion. When the girlfriend goes " Honey, are you even listening? ". You can probably go " I'm sorry baby, I really am trying. But my brain is just not capable unlike yours."

Don't feel bad ladies, that they've finally come up with an excuse for their short attention spans. Atleast your complex voices are considered as music to their minds! ;)

Ice, Ice Baby.

When I got back to Malaysia recently I was going on and on about the toll global warming had taken on us. For those who don't already know, winter in Russia had gone haywire. The usual October snowfall never came. Well it popped out for a day or two then went into hibernation for a good two months. It only officially started snowing in December, two days before I left. On the contrary, London was experiencing snow storms. Snow storms?! Before, they hardly ever experience any snow fall at all.

Naturally everyone was pointing fingers at global warming as the cause. But then again how sure are we? We're not the ones doing scientific research and discoveries. We're merely just believing whatever the media, whether it being print or broadcast, has being throwing at us.

Shockingly, did you know that most scientists are global warming skeptics? Or that environmental alarmists have knowingly promoted false and exaggerated data on global warming? I came across this book Red Hot Lies , supposedly an expose of the hypocrisy, deceit, and outright lies of the global warming alarmists and the compliant media that support them. Apparently the free speech of scientific researches have been supressed. I'm guessing by their very own version of ISA. x)

It was feared that the polar caps were vanishing because of the effects of global warming right? But figures from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration ( God, I can't even say this without stumbling upon the words ) show that almost all the so called 'lost' ice has actually come back.

But who is to explain this madness ??!! ZERO DEGREES CELSIUS ? Winter is suppose to be peaking right about now at a temperature as low as -20 but the weather forecast is showing 0 ? Pfft, what a meltdown.

P.S: There had better be nice, fluffy, white snow when I get back. I want to go on a ski-ing trip when I get back to Russia. :/
